Talking to Callie after tucking her into bed after a rough day of disciplining.  
Me: I'm just sad Callie.  
Callie: why?
Me: well, sister disobeyed a lot today which makes me sad.
Callie: does Callie make mommy sad too?
Me: yes, sometimes.  When you disobey it makes me sad.
Callie: yeah, because sometimes Callie just needs to be little.

Me: callie what is that green stuff on your shirt?
Callie: It's called Play dough, mom (duh)

We are putting a new pump and filter on our pool, but of course something goes wrong, and Nate gets completely soaked.  Callie sees him getting wet and runs over to him and says, "Daddy, your shirt is all wet."  Thanks Callie, Daddy has a hard time knowing when he's wet:)

Callie: Look mommy, the flag is broken.  It's not working.  They need to get a new one.

Callie: it means I can't pick up.

Callie: mommy, is that for baby brother?
Me: yep
Callie: what is it for?
Me: Baby brother will lay on it and drink milk from mommy. 
Callie: what?
Me: Mommy will make milk from her chest and baby brother will drink it.
Callie: will you make it chocolate?
