Sunny Days Make Me Think of Random Things.

Callie discovered shadows today.  We were eating our lunch outside and she asked me what that thing was on her plate.  I explained that it was her sippy cup shadow.  She was very excited about this and for the rest of lunch showed me her hot dog shadow, her hand shadow, her grape shadow, her strawberry shadow...

We took a trip to Good Will today.  I bought a doll house for the girls.  I was cleaning it with a rag outside, but quickly switched to using an old toothbrush, worked way better.  It looks really good.  Good as in clean.  I'm looking forward to remodeling their out-dated doll house.  I see new tiny rugs, tiny pillows, tiny wall decor, tiny furniture...in the horizon.

We have really enjoyed this 70 degree weather.  It makes me excited about Spring...not so much Summer, but I did buy an uber about of water toys 90% off at Albertsons last Fall, so BRING IT Summer.  Summer also means we'll be adding a third child to our clan, which I am excited about.  I think this third baby transition will be easier than the second.  I was a very angry Mel last time.  Mainly, because this go around, Nate won't either be sleeping or working, so I won't feel like a single parent.  How do they do it?  I'm so thankful for his work schedule now.   I'm also very thankful that he doesn't always jump at every overtime or part time opportunity.  He'd much rather hang out with his family than work all the time.  That means worlds to me than a bigger pay check.

So now that we are having a boy, I feel like we need to repaint one of the bedrooms.  Right now the two kid rooms are pink and purple.  I'm thinking of changing the pink room...because it's VERY pink. So that's another project stewing in my brain.

Speaking of projects.  Our garage.  Not so much needing to reorganize, but it's in dire need of a clean.  I feel like I need to post a sign on the garage door, "CAUTION!! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK".  Or have people sign a form before entering saying they can't hold us liable of any personal damages.  It would be easy to describe the garage in layers.  The first layer consists of all the outdoor/indoor christmas decor.  It's all stowed away in their tubs, but the tubs need to be put on the shelves.  The second layer is...i don't know what the second layer is, because I can't see it, but I think it has something to do with Nate's green house, because I see a lot of plastic and posts that make for great tripping devices.  The third layer, top layer, is an insane about of cardboard boxes.  It's not in my daily schedule to tear down boxes, so what happens, is they just get thrown out in the garage, to be broken down later.  Well, later turned into later and later and later.   We have so many boxes out there including a big fruit tree box and a bunk bed box.   Soooo, i really, should stop blogging and go work on breaking down some boxes.  If I'm not back in an hour...I got eaten by the mysterious second layer.
